Q+A
What do you know for sure?
I know for sure that there is something bigger than all of us working behind the scenes, sometimes rearranging the furniture for a good laugh when we trip, but there to strangely and miraculously catch us sometimes when we do fall.
What don’t people know about you?
I have 26 first cousins. Also, I grew up in a condo in downtown Chicago taking public transportation and never needed to drive anywhere. Consequently, I got my drivers license at age 24 during a trial by fire. My boss was sending me on a business trip to Arkansas, where I would need to spend a week driving around to rural schools with a saggy trunk full of literature textbooks to peddle. Needless to say, I got my license the following week and learned to drive in the hills of Arkansas the week after that!
What makes you laugh?
My 3 kids. They are hilarious sometimes when they don’t even know it. Example: “Claudia, would you like to take the stairs, or the escalator?” “Hmmm. Let’s take the alligator.”
If you could fire anyone in the world, who would you fire?
If I could have the pleasure of saying, “you’re fired!” I think at this point, it would have to be to Donald Trump!
What do you geek out about?
I love a good font. And, I love love love good food - thinking about it, cooking it, eating it, sharing it with others. Food equals fellowship in my world.
